Lindsey, Lori, Nick and I left Baltimore around 4:00 and arrived at Rob's
around 5:30 if I remember correctly. Lori is superb at finding her way
around Philly.

April 25th, 2009. The city of brotherly love. Tigers Jaw, Ruiner, and Crime
In Stereo (skipped them.) played. Tigers Jaw rules. We went to Rob's house
and saw Tommy, Josh, and Esun. it was a good afternoon/night. The weather
was awesome. The pictures speak for themselves.

Deer Man of Dark Woods

This is by no means a new idea. But the Barrier Kult (BAKU) has been
destroying it in Canada for a long time. I hope they descend to the East
Coast of the US eventually. Their leader is the Deer Man of Dark Woods.
Worship.

Seriously though, check out their 16 minute BAKU video. It's got barriers,
satan, skating barriers, and ski masks. All things I'm a fan of.

This weekend

Friday night I left work early, around 3:30. Picked up Lindsey, went home
and showered and got dressed. Lori came down, then Ham and Cory. Eric drove
down from Philly and brought a friend who's name I don't remember. We all
went to Sonar for New Found Glory. Parking was shitty but Ham handled biz
and got a spot. Walked up, saw some friends, went inside.

Trapped Under Ice was opening, they went off, it was fun. Although it was
weird being in such a huge room, with so many kids who had no idea who they
were, why people were losing it, and what was going on. Found Nick Heitman,
kicked it with him for most of the night. Anton played, kids were losing it.
I pretty much was outside for all of Set Your Goals and Bayside.

Went back in for NFG. Broken glass everywhere, a lot of dumb kids. Got
McDonald's on the way home and ate unhealthy.

Woke up way early Saturday and went running, and went to BJ's Wholesale
Club. Came home, took a 4 hour nap, and went to Fells to meet up with the
Manwalk. Ryan and Tony were destroyed, it ruled. Went to the Hexagon to see
In Every Room play, came home.

Then Sunday went to the March for the Paws and took 2/3 of our puppies.
Jovie was being terrible and jumped out of the car window while at Lori's
house (car was parked).

Weekend was tight.

HUF

So Keith Hufnagel opened a shop a few years back in San Francisco called
"HUF" and it's steadily became a leader in skating. They recently (within
the last year or so?) branched out into producing their own gear and it's
all so tight. Kind of pricy, but I think I want to save up and get some at
one point or another. Here's a sample of some of their shit.
